The project involved the redevelopment of the swimming pool and garden area of a detached house dating back to the late 1970s, located in a residential setting overlooking the sea.
The existing swimming pool was replaced with a new elliptical reinforced concrete pool, featuring an infinity edge facing the sea. The design integrates with the surrounding vegetation and the traditional terraced landscape of Liguria, maintaining a direct connection with the natural environment.
The landscaping works included the adjustment of ground levels and slopes, as well as the renovation of paved areas, pathways, and dry-stone walls using split-face Luserna stone, a material already present on the property.
A custom-made iron pergola, featuring slender metal profiles and a partial covering of natural reed screening, was built to complement the pool area.
The project also included the refurbishment of selected interior spaces.
The architectural firm was responsible for the detailed design, tendering process, and construction supervision.
