New Cartier boutique Salizada San Moisè | Venice

Category: Building construction

Once it was left the original site of San Zulian, Cartier moved its boutique in the central Salizada San Moisè, a stone's throw from Piazza San Marco. The spaces develop on two floors: on the ground floor a series of separate but connected spaces welcome the visitor and each environment is characterized by different material finishes and specific space configurations that help to visually communicate the product displayed in that area, while the offices are located on the first floor. The sales area is characterized by a large iron and glass skylight from the late nineteenth century. The project included the restoration of the skylight, in collaboration with the Venice’s Superintendence, which acquires a major role within the general layout. The assignment consisted in the General Coordination and in the Construction Supervision. The realization involved a multiplicity of specific professional figures for each work, both in the design and in the execution phases.
